World Food Moscow 2026 will take place from 15 to 18 September 2026 at Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre, Pavilion 3, Halls 14 and 15, in Moscow, Russia. The exhibition will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from 15 to 17 September and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 18 September.
The 2026 event will mark the 35th edition of World Food Moscow, one of the most important international food and beverage exhibitions serving Russia and the wider Eurasian market, It brings together food producers, exporters, importers, distributors, wholesalers, retail chains, foodservice operators and professional buyers seeking new products and reliable supply partners.
The exhibition is expected to host more than 1,100 exhibitors and attract over 26,300 trade visitors, with participation from more than 30 countries and over 60 regions of Russia. These figures highlight its importance as a commercial sourcing platform connecting domestic and international suppliers with decision-makers from retail, distribution and hospitality.
World Food Moscow covers 16 specialised product sectors, offering buyers access to a broad range of food and beverage categories, These include grocery products, fruits and vegetables, frozen foods, ready-to-eat products, confectionery and bakery products, dairy and cheese, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, tea, coffee and cocoa, soft drinks, organic and healthy food, oils and fats, ingredients and foodservice products.
What distinguishes World Food Moscow is its focus on the complete journey of food products from producers and agricultural suppliers to supermarket shelves and restaurant tables.
The exhibition allows participating companies to introduce new products, meet potential customers, evaluate market demand and negotiate supply and distribution opportunities within four concentrated business days.
The event attracts professional buyers representing supermarkets, convenience stores, wholesale businesses, regional distributors, restaurant groups, cafés, hotels and catering companies, This buyer profile makes WorldFood Moscow particularly relevant to international suppliers seeking direct commercial access to Russian retail and foodservice channels.
A dedicated World Food Business Lounge provides a professional environment for qualified buyers from retail and foodservice companies to conduct meetings, work and communicate with potential suppliers. This supports more focused negotiations between exhibitors and purchasing decision-makers.
The exhibition programme also includes conferences, analytical sessions, product competitions, tastings and culinary activities, The World Food HoReCa programme addresses developments affecting catering and hospitality businesses, while the Culinary Marathon allows professional chefs to prepare dishes using products presented by exhibitors.
For the global food industry, World Food Moscow provides access to a large and geographically diverse consumer market. International producers can use the exhibition to understand Russian purchasing trends, identify suitable distribution partners and assess demand across different retail price segments and regional markets.
The exhibition is especially important for companies seeking alternatives to highly competitive Western European markets. Russia and neighbouring Eurasian markets can offer opportunities for suppliers capable of providing competitive pricing, consistent volumes, suitable packaging and products adapted to local consumer preferences.
For Egyptian food companies, World Food Moscow 2026 represents a strategic opportunity to expand exports to Russia and strengthen commercial relationships with importers, retailers and regional distributors, Russia is already an important destination for several Egyptian agricultural products, creating a foundation that food-processing companies can build upon.
Egyptian exhibitors can present products with strong potential in the Russian market, including frozen fruits and vegetables, fresh produce, citrus products, dates, processed olives, herbs and spices, juices and concentrates, confectionery, biscuits, bakery products, frozen foods, sauces, canned products and other shelf-stable foods.
Egypt’s capabilities in frozen strawberries and other processed fruit products can be particularly relevant to Russian manufacturers, foodservice operators and retail buyers seeking competitively priced ingredients and finished products, Egyptian companies may also explore opportunities to supply products for industrial processing, retail brands and private-label programmes.
World Food Moscow can help Egyptian exporters move beyond trading through intermediaries by developing direct relationships with Russian buyers. Direct engagement may provide companies with greater insight into pricing, packaging, volume expectations, product specifications and regional distribution requirements.
World Food Moscow exhibition also offers Egyptian companies an opportunity to study competing suppliers from different countries. By examining product quality, pack sizes, branding and price positioning, exporters can identify the changes required to make Egyptian products more competitive within Russian retail and wholesale channels.
Private-label manufacturing represents another potential opportunity, Russian retailers and distributors may seek international manufacturers capable of supplying products under their own brands, particularly when the supplier can offer flexible production, competitive prices and consistent quality.
Participation is also relevant for Egyptian companies seeking to diversify their export destinations, Expanding into Russia and Eurasia can reduce dependence on a limited group of traditional markets and create additional sales channels for products facing intense competition elsewhere.
However, companies considering participation should prepare carefully by reviewing the applicable import regulations, food-safety requirements, labelling standards, logistics arrangements, payment mechanisms and distributor responsibilities before entering negotiations, Commercial success will depend not only on product quality, but also on the exporter’s ability to offer reliable supply and clear contractual terms.
A coordinated Egyptian pavilion in World Food Moscow could enhance the visibility of participating companies by presenting Egypt as a diverse and dependable sourcing destination, It would allow international buyers to discover multiple Egyptian product categories within one national platform and could support organised business meetings with Russian importers and retail representatives.
World Food Moscow 2026 should therefore be viewed as more than a promotional exhibition. For Egyptian food companies, it is a market-entry and buyer-development platform that can support direct negotiations, product testing, distributor selection and long-term expansion across Russia and neighbouring Eurasian markets.
